At first I thought he wasn’t stupid, he just didn’t understand how rockets work. Then he continued to dig his hole. Where my opinion started to change was when he tried to “de bunk” combustion in space because there is no air. Still, not unreasonable to not quite understand that, but after having it explained several times to him and still no backing down, I really started to loose hope. Where I lost all hope however was here,

This ignorance especially pisses me off considering my dad programs satellite imagery software for a living and I’ve seen some incredible first hand imagery to come from satellites.

Edit: I’m not sure if he was looking for pictures from satellites, or pictures of satellites. Of course there’s not going to be hardly any pictures of satellites in space, if any at all. That’s like asking to take a picture of your camera, with your camera, and without the help of any mirror. Still...stupid.
